Business Updates for April 2009: GCTA, WSA Trenchless, Lockwood, Andrews and Newnam
Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam has made two recent appointments. Graham Moore, P.E., has been appointed to LAN’s San Marcos office. In this role, Moore will pursue municipal infrastructure projects in Central Texas and oversee the day-to-day operations of the San Marcos office.
Moore has more than 10 years of experience providing design services for the city of Austin and local municipalities in Central Texas. These include designing and evaluating pump and lift stations, water distribution systems and water and wastewater treatment plants. He recently completed the Southwest Pump Station and Ground Storage Reservoir design for the city of Lubbock, TX, which received the Trailblazer Award for excellence from the South Plains Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
Moore holds bachelors degrees in mechanical engineering and physics from Southern Methodist University. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas and a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
LAN has appointed Daniel B. McCausland as the firm’s director of program management services.
McCausland brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in providing program and project management services globally. These include seven years as a public agent, seven years commercial contracting and more than 10 years in capital program management services. He has earned the reputation as a leading professional in the public arena and has successfully filled the roles of owner, contractor and consultant over a wide range of projects exceeding more than $15 billion in construction value.
McCausland previously served as an associate vice president of PinnacleOne, where he was responsible for oversight, development and supervision of public sector services in Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
McCausland holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in theology from Biola University, CA.
Bobcat Company, Polaris Industries
North Dakota-based Bobcat Company and Polaris Industries Inc., of Medina, MN, have announced a long-term strategic alliance that will include co-development of work vehicles, supply of highly differentiated work vehicles and technology sharing, with a planned launch by the second half of 2010.
