A 65 hp Kubota diesel engine powers the compact D16x20 Series II. It provides 2,000 foot-pounds of rotational torque and 1,600 pounds of thrust/pullback. The DD-6 self-contained horizontal directional drilling system provides 60,000 pounds of maximum thrust/pullback power, and 10,000 foot-pounds of maximum rotary torque. The unit is equipped with a four drive, rack and pinion carriage system with adjustable force limiter, 2-inch fluid course for increased down hole hydraulic power, and rig mounted crane with a lifting rate of 6,000 pounds.
