Untold miles of corrugated metal pipe (CMP) have been installed across our nation’s highways – including federal, state and local roads. Along with other segments of the infrastructure, these old culvert installations are failing at a distressing rate and threaten many roads. The combination of standard tunneling methods and pipe materials such as reinforced concrete pipe, make culvert replacement simple, efficient and provide a niche for innovative contractors who can perform this type of work.
