HammerHead Introduces Improved Mole Tracking System

The Moletrac system uses a BI impact beacon and Model 250R locating receiver manufactured by Ditch Witch Electronics. The beacon has proved itself effective in high-impact conditions, LeBlanc said. The 250R and transmitter also can be used as a basic utility locating tool.

HammerHead is an Earth Tool company based in Oconomowoc, WI. In addition to pneumatic piercing tools, HammerHead manufactures a full line of pipe bursting, pipe ramming and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) assist tools and accessories.

Ditch Witch equipment is manufactured by the Charles Machine Works, Inc., Perry, OK.
