The new Vermeer D9x13 Series II Navigator horizontal directional drill has 300 feet of onboard rod carrying capacity, allowing for the completion of long distance bores. An expandable track feature increases the working width of the machine for helping to increase side-hill stability. Several user-friendly operators’ station features are included such as dual joysticks and a digital display screen with drilling fluid volume recorder and rod cycle counter. The customer can choose either a 9 gpm or 15 gpm onboard drilling fluid pump. The compact Grundodrill 4X is designed for residential service, small diameter main installations, last mile operations and gas pipeline applications, offering 9,800 pounds of thrust and pullback.
