August 2010 Vol. 65 No. 8

A new Wireless Echo system is the ideal solution for situations where two-man forensic teams must perform non-destructive testing in difficult infrastructure environments.

The test technician operates the device (transducer) on the structure being tested, and the signals are sent wirelessly to a computer monitored by the test engineer. The wireless system is effective for distances up to 300 meters (990 feet) between the two operators, and includes two "fireman's radios" for continuous audio communication. 607.756.0808, www.impact-echo.com
