Industry Icon Harold Mueller Passes Away
Harold and Bea’s philosophy of giving was not limited to the business. They also helped raise five children from the Ojibwa tribe at Sandy Lake, Ontario, along with providing for the private education of two children from the city of Milwaukee (Glen and Crawford Allen).
Mueller’s civic service included Boy Scouts of America troop leader, New Berlin Lions Club, City of New Berlin School Board member and New Berlin Police Commission. He was the recipient of the New Berlin Citizen of the Year award, National Utility Contractor’s “Ditch Digger of the Year” and, most recently, the Distribution Contractor’s Association “Lifetime Achievement Award”.
Harold is survived by his wife Beatrice, sons James (Jean), Michael (Deanna), Jerold (Elizabeth), Dennis (Kellie) and daughter Jane Koth (Charles), brother Robert (Catherine) Mueller, 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
