The direct result of ongoing collaboration between excavator customers and Deere engineers, John Deere has launched three new G-Series Excavators featuring IT4-certified engines, more power and cab improvements to increase visibility.

John Deere Construction & Forestry announced April 7 that it has been awarded the Common Ground Alliance’s (CGA) President’s Corporate Award of Excellence for promoting the Alliance and the 811 “call-before-you-dig” safety program.

The PowerTech E 6.8L engine is the first John Deere engine to carry both Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier 3 Emergency Stationary and European Union (EU) Stage III A certification, with dual frequency ratings of 1,800 and 1,500 rpm.
