The new Volvo EW230C excavator is built around a new, more robust platform, which is designed to ensure the stability needed to manage bigger loads for heavy lifting applications.

The 20 ton weight class design ensures that the rear axle weight, when fitted with the standard counterweight, is below 12 ton. A heavier counterweight is available for applications not requiring the machine to be moved on the road. The EW230C weighs 21.6-24.3 ton, depending on machine configuration. Choose between a 18 feet 8 inch mono or two-piece boom.
