In Memoriam: Barbara Oliver White

Barbara Oliver White, born Aug. 21, 1938, passed away July 12 in Dallas, TX. She was married to the late James Thomas White, who at the time of his death on Jan. 22, 2012, was past president of the Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA) and served as president of Dallas-based Price Gregory International Inc.

White was past president and a member of the Medical City Dallas Auxiliary where she volunteered for over 28 years. She also served on the Auxiliary Board as the chaplaincy chairperson, as board member of the World Cranial-Facial Foundation at Medical City, and as a member of the Mississippi University for Women Foundation board of directors.

She is survived by her children Jim (Laura); Pat (Jill); and Holly; grandchildren Keely, Hollyn, Kailan, Trace, Connor and John.

Services were held July 17 at Moore Memorial United Methodist Church in Winona, MS, with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Moore Memorial United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 467, Winona, MS 38967.
