In Memoriam: Clyde Mitchell Fowler

Clyde Mitchell Fowler, 62, died with his family by his side on June 5 after a sudden illness.

Fowler was born in Houston on Oct. 3, 1950. He attended The University of Texas where he met Bernadine Slomchinski. They shared 41 years of marriage which has included everything from the struggle of graduate school to the joy of becoming grandparents.

He worked as chief financial officer and senior vice president at Associated Pipe Line Contractors where he served since 1986.

Fowler is survived by his mother Ellouise; his wife Bernie; daughter Jennifer (Patrick) Easter; son Sam (Jeana) Fowler; four grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Fowler.

He was laid to rest at Morton Cemetery in Richmond, TX. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The 100 Club (www.the100club.org).
