In Memoriam: Darold Wendell Falldorf

Darold Wendell Falldorf, 79, of Bemidji, MN, died, July 15 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Falldord was born Oct. 29, 1933 in Grand Island, NE, the son of Harry and Emily (Taggart) Falldorf. He was raised and educated in Wadena, MN, where he graduated from high school in 1951. He served our country during the Korean War in the U. S. Army from 1951-1954 and was a decorated veteran.

Falldord was a pipeline contractor for most of his life. He enjoyed the challenge each job presented. He eventually became a co-owner of a pipeline company, Aconite Corporation of St. Paul, retiring in 1992. He also served as DCA past president

He is survived by his wife Joy; children Dave (Peggy); Kerry (Bill); Kevin; Kelly (Ram); Corrin (Joel) and Todd; a brother Donald (Carol); as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Georgene; three daughters Kim, Julie and Jodi; and his parents.

Memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
