In Memoriam: Roger E. Dollar
Roger E. Dollar, 49, of Orlando, FL, passed away on April 20, after a two-year battle with cancer. Born in El Dorado, AR, Dollar earned a Bachelor in Industry Management from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR.
He worked at Prescolite in El Dorado, AR, and then for The Strong Company located in Pine Bluff, AR. Dollar was transferred to Orlando, FL, in 1996 and in 1997 he began working for Quadex Inc. where he was the vice president of marketing and sales.
Dollar is survived by his wife, Lara; his parents, Jerry Earl and Bobbie Dollar; a sister, Ronda (Cliff Harbour); and five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roger Dollar Memorial Fund at Simmons First Bank of El Dorado, 100 West Grove Street, El Dorado, AR 71730.
