Trenchless pipe replacement methods as available from TT Technologies, TRIC Tools, Ditch Witch, Tenbusch and Nowak Pipe Reaming.
Burst and replace water, sewer, gas and other pipes with the Grundoburst static pipe bursting system. The Grundoburst can pull in a variety of replacement pipe including PVC, DIP, ABS, cast iron, fusion welded HDPE and VCP jacking pipe. Pulled by a hydraulic bursting unit, the cutter head’s special cutting wheels split the host pipe. Six models are available for bursting 2 to 54-inch pipes and larger. 800.533.2078, www.tttechnologies.com
The X30 is a versatile choice for both residential and commercial pipe bursting projects. The X30 puller weighs only 75 pounds and is capable of replacing from ¾-inch water lines to 6-inch sewer laterals. Paired with TRIC’s newly released compact 18-hp hydraulic pump, the X30 can replace 100 feet of 6-inch pipe in less than 20 minutes. Add TRIC Tools’ Unified Force pneumatic-assist head and burst 8-inch pipe with confidence. 888.883.8742, www.trictrenchless.com
With the PR100 pipe bursting system—which includes the hydraulic bursting unit, job box and power pack—you get 100 percent Ditch Witch design, engineering and manufacturing working together for optimal performance. Stoutly built with heavy-duty, commercial-grade steel and engineered with 100 tons of pullback force, the PR100 is capable of bursting steel pipe and bursting ductile iron, clay, PVC and cast iron pipe up to 16 inches in diameter. A fully enclosed yet fully accessible power pack is the quietest in its class (83 dBA); features to enhance productivity include remote drains and an auxiliary pump for running hydraulic power tools. With a rod box that mounts on the bursting unit, the PR100’s compact size leaves a small footprint, which means less disruption and less potential interference with adjacent structures. 800.654.6481, www.ditchwitch.com
